BIO:
Hi, I'm Matt. I was born and raised in the Pittsburgh area where as a teenager I discovered two of my favorite things on the planet. Skateboarding and graffiti. For me, they go together like peanut butter and jelly. The three aspects that they have in common, the three aspects that I like the most, is the creative flow, adaptability and risk. I've always enjoyed when skateboarding inspired my art, and vice versa. Like many others, I consider myself lucky to have stumbled upon the link between the two.

BIO:

I hail from east Pittsburgh, where skating as a young one served as a sort of gateway into art. Skating has always been the main, if not only, bridge between finesse-based athleticism and underground arts culture. These days I doubt I could pull off the simplest of skate tricks, but I'm thankful for the time skating was part of my identity. Now I'm a freelance illustrator working on posters and album art for Pittsburgh bands, festivals and businesses.

BIO:

I started skateboarding in 1983, then got back into skateboarding 2 years ago after a 23 year hiatus.  Since then I've started inflicting myself on Troika Skateboards thru filming video, helping discover and create skate spots, while enjoying the new friendships skateboarding has created.

BIO:

I am a Freelance Graphic Designer based out of Pittsburgh, PA. I specialize in Illustration, Photography, and Design. I grew up in a small suburban town outside of the city of Pittsburgh, where there was very little to do besides go to the movies or hang out at the mall. In order to pass the time, I took up skateboarding at an early age. I never became an expert at it, but have cultivated an intense passion for the sport and the culture that surrounds it over the years. Through skateboarding (and a need to overcome the boredom) I found other inspirations such as graffiti and the art culture that surrounds skateboarding. This went on to influence my pursuit of a career in art and led to my discovery of Graphic Design. Over the years, I've worked on many types of projects including Branding/Logo Design, Posters, Album Art, Publication Design, Apparel, and Websites, among many others. I am always open to collaborate and work on new projects!
